Unfortunately, LinkedIn has decided to pull the plug on its benchmarking API. As of 1 June 2020 it will no longer be possible to analyze external LinkedIn profiles.
This means that from this date on you can only analyze LinkedIn profiles with Fanpage Karma for which you have the corresponding permissions.
This is how LinkedIn justifies the API restriction: “This decision will enable LinkedIn to increase their focus on Company Pages solutions that best help customers grow their business and presence on LinkedIn.“
All features related to the evaluation, publishing and community management of your own LinkedIn profiles remain:
- post and profile analysis
- qualitative content analysis
- pre-scheduling of posts and automated publishing
- receiving and replying to LinkedIn comments
